Home Haven & Co (“We/Us/Our”)

APPOINTMENTS

For all appointment enquires please call or email us. Our appointments are on request. We have our usual working hours as listed on our website or Facebook page (working hours subject to change, notification of this will be given if and when it occurs). If you are in need of a treatment outside of these times, please reach out as we may do afterhours appointments at an extra charge. All appointments require credit card or gift voucher details to secure your booking timeslot. We understand that sometimes bookings need to be changed, with 24hours or more notice you will be allowed to change your booking. Less than 24hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Maintenance Subscriptions must be booked every 4-6 weeks. Relaxation Subscriptions may be used weekly or fortnightly but no longer than 4-6 weeks between appointments. Your subscription does not automatically renew. You will be notified before your next payment is due and must authorise that payment for your subscription to continue. To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps: Please email us on info@homehavenco.com.au or advise us at one of your appointments. You can only cancel after minimum of 6-month subscription has been purchased and with minimum of 4 weeks’ notice before the end of your subscription period.

SAFE PRACTICES

Our duty is to ensure the health and safety of our providers and clients. We follow all health directives that are in place – these may change depending on restrictions. All clients will need to follow any health directives in place to have a service, unless of course exempt or there are no restrictions in place. If you are experiencing any cold/flu/covid symptoms we ask that you reschedule your booking. If you are a contact of a known positive covid case or have been in a hot spot within the last 2 weeks, we ask that you reschedule. We will prioritise your next booking. Our therapists are fully vaccinated and if they are unwell, we will reschedule any appointments.

LATE START/ARRIVAL

Late starts due to you not being present at home on time can only be extended to the remaining time of the scheduled appointment.  If you are 30 minutes late past your appointment we will have to reschedule/cancel the appointment, which may incur cancellation fee + travel costs. 

CANCELLATIONS

We are committed to providing the best service in a timely manner. We always aim to accommodate your needs. Unfortunately, when a client cancels without giving adequate notice, it prevents another client from accessing suitable treatment times. This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. We are implementing a straightforward cancellation policy to be upfront about all the costs you may face when engaging our services.  24 hours prior notice must be given for cancellations of all appointments, or a cancellation fee may apply. Notice must be before 6pm 24 hours prior to appt. Messages received after 6pm or on a Sunday or Public Holiday will be lodged as received morning of the following business day. If it is within 24 hours and you cannot attend your appointment, you may either ask a friend or family member to take your slot, otherwise cancellation fee applies. Cancellation fee is 50% of treatment and will be deducted from credit card as secured and authorised upon booking (may incur 2.2% surcharge for card-not-present payment). If credit card payment isn’t available – an invoice will be sent, payable in full within 14 days of cancelled appointment. We understand unforeseen situations can arise. We will do our best to work with you. Please provide us with adequate notice. This ensures fairness to us and any clients who may want this appointment time. GIFT VOUCHERS

Voucher valid for 3 years from date of purchase. Bookings subject to availability. Bookings made with vouchers are subject to standard cancellation policy. Vouchers redeemed on Sundays/Public Holiday subject to 15% surcharge. After hours appointments subject to additional charge. Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers not valid with any other offer/special. Expired vouchers not accepted. Vouchers are transferable with prior arrangement and notification.

TRAVEL FEES AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Minimum $50 callout applies. Please note that travel fees are NOT built into our treatment prices. Travel fees are discussed at point of contact as each booking is dependent on distance & treatments. Travel fees are implemented to cover the travel time/costs of our therapists. No travel fee within 5km of Fremantle CBD – free travel fee zones are subject to change, notice of this will be given if and when it occurs. Parking fees are charged to the client, such as hospital parking, hotel parking, parking lots, and meter parking. If you’re at a hotel, please advise us of the parking instructions. A 15% surcharge applies to Public Holiday bookings. An afterhours fee of $20 applies outside of our normal working hours. PRICING/PAYMENTS/FEES AND CREDIT CARD DETAILS

If you book a service, you agree to pay the set price to Home Haven & Co by way of credit/debit card, cash, bank transfer, or gift voucher payment. By providing your credit card details and associated payment information, you agree that we are authorised to immediately debit all fees and charges due and payable to Home Haven & Co from your nominated credit card and that no additional notice or consent is required. We may change the pricing for services offered from time to time and without notice at our sole discretion by updating the price list included on the website. Credit card details or gift vouchers will secure your appointment. All these details are kept in a secure confidential file.

DISCOUNTS

Please be aware that any discounts cannot be used in conjunction with gift voucher redemptions. Discounts cannot be applied to our Subscriptions or any promotions/specials on offer.

Your submission of personal information to Home Haven & Co is governed by our Privacy Policy. (link policy page)

PROMOTIONS

Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages by ‘liking us’ at www.facebook.com/homehavenbeauty or follow us @homehavenbeauty. We advertise any promotions/specials on social media so keep a watch. If you follow us on our social media pages, show us at your appointment for our follower’s discount as a little thank you for your follow and support (one time redemption).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As the recipient of the services, you agree to:

  • Comply with all reasonable requirements of the Home Haven & Co therapist
  • Offer a safe, clean, suitable, and reasonably comfortable space for the therapist to provide the services
  • Provide a workspace that has access to bathroom facilities and is near an electrical outlet and a sink
  • Refrain from, and advise other individuals present to refrain from, any speech, conduct or personal displays that a reasonable person would find offensive, intimidating, hostile, harassing, indecent or abusive while the Home Haven & Co therapist is present
  • If you have pets, confine your pets to a room where the therapist will not be working
  • Comply with Home Haven & Co’s COVID-19 Policy as updated from time to time

Home Haven & Co reserve the right to terminate or refuse to provide services at any time in the event you do not fulfil your responsibilities as set forth in this agreement or if therapist feels unsafe or uncomfortable with their work environment for any reason. User Content:

  • You agree that where you refer to, or identify, Home Haven & Co or the therapist in the content, we may use the User Content, including for promotional purposes and publishing it on the website or on Home Haven & Co’s social media pages
  • You grant us an irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free, and fully paid worldwide licence to reproduce, distribute and publicly display your User Content or any part thereof
  • If you provide any feedback or testimonials regarding the Services, you agree we may publish such feedback on our website, our social media pages or use in any other manner we deem appropriate

PREGNANCY

It is important that you advise us if you are pregnant when booking. Our massage treatments are only suitable from the second trimester. Other treatments may not be suitable, or other accommodations may need to be made. MEDICAL AND HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS At the time of booking please inform us of any special assistance you may require, allergies, medical conditions, injury, or pregnancy. If you are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy, please consult your doctor first. Some medical conditions may require a doctor’s note before treatments can commence. When you disclose your medical conditions with us in advance, we can inform you if this is needed – this ensures no disappointment on the day of booking if we cannot proceed or if adjustments need to be made. Before starting the treatment, we will get you to fill out a personal questionnaire – along with medical history we will need to know if you are on certain medications (some medications can be contra-indicated to treatments). If you are unsure if any medication you are taking is contra-indicated to treatments, please phone, or email us ahead of your appointment. Please also respect our therapist by re-scheduling appointments if you are very ill, have the flu/cold/covid or, in a contagious state. Our therapists will also reschedule if they are unwell and cannot perform the treatment.

MINIMUM AGE

The minimum age to receive treatments by us is 16 years old. Children aged 10+ may receive treatments when accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law: • You release us (including our officers, employees, advisors, contractors and agents) from all claims, demands and damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with Home Haven & Co, therapists, or the services • We are not responsible for any Liability suffered by you or any third party, arising from or in connection with your use of the platform or the services. • Except for liability in relation to a breach of any Non-excludable Condition, Home Haven & Co’s liability to you is limited to the price of your last service. • Home Haven & Co’s liability to you for a breach of any Non-excludable Condition (other than a Non-excludable Condition that by law cannot be limited) is limited, at our option to any one of supplying again or paying the cost of supplying again, services in respect of which the breach occurred. Indemnity - To the fullest extent permitted by law, you must indemnify and hold us (including our officers, employees and agents) harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party or therapist due to or arising out of your: • Use of the Platform • Use of the Services in an unauthorised manner • User Content • Breach of this agreement • Breach of applicable laws and regulations This indemnity is a continuing obligation, independent from the other obligations under these terms, and continues after these terms end.

COMPLAINTS

We ask that if you are not satisfied with your treatment that you advise us immediately following the treatment. Home Haven & Co encourages you to try and resolve any dispute. We will work with you to resolve disputes as we strive to provide the best services and experience. You must co-operate with any investigation undertaken by us. We reserve the right to make a final determination (acting reasonably) based on the information supplied by you and our therapist. DISCONTINUANCE

We may exclude any person from using our services, at any time and at our sole discretion. We are not responsible for any Liability you may suffer arising from or in connection with any such discontinuance or exclusion. Force Majeure – If circumstances beyond Home Haven and Co’s control prevent or hinder the provision of the services, Home Haven and Co, director and therapists are free from any obligation to provide the services while those circumstances continue. Circumstances out of our control include, but are not limited to, lockdowns caused by COVID-19, strikes, lockouts, riots, natural disasters, fire, war, acts of God, Government decrees, proclamations or orders, transport difficulties and failures or malfunctions of computers or other information technology systems.
